Photographer Victoria Barber To Release Book of Documentary Photographs of Rockaway Beach

While visiting her sister in Belle Harbor, Florida resident Victoria Barber began to photograph Rockaway Beach.  She tells us “I  live in Florida but my inlaws all live in Belle Harbor and I came up to help them deal with cleanup and also got to do lots of volunteering, making drop offs of donations, food and taking lots of photos. I was often overwhelmed by the beauty of the sea and the sky in the midst of all the devastation. I have a book of the Wow Rockaway photos that will soon be available at “The Gift Is Love” on 116th. The book project started as a Christmas present for my family”.

I am in particular a fan of her series “Gifts From The Sea” which features “Extreme beauty everyday,  All elements combine and remind that earth, air, fire and wind create potent images.”

You can see some of here images here, and keep an eye out for her book at The Gift Is Love.
